Some components require additional treatments after machining. While Ağırman performs CNC machining, CNC grinding, induction hardening and ultrasonic cleaning in house, selected surface treatments and additional heat treatments are performed externally by specialist sub-suppliers and coordinated by Ağırman.
Examples of externally coordinated surface treatments include:
• Cataphoresis (KTL)
• Zinc plating
• Nickel plating
• Phosphate coating
• GEOMET coating
Examples of externally coordinated heat treatments include:
• Vacuum heat treatment
• Carburizing / cementation
• Other heat-treatment processes according to material and component requirements
Other surface treatments and heat treatment processes can also be coordinated according to the component specification and project requirements.
When an external process is required, Ağırman coordinates it as part of the component’s manufacturing process according to the customer specification. This gives customers one point of contact for machining and related operations, simplifying coordination throughout the manufacturing process.
