Ağırman performs ultrasonic cleaning in house as a finishing process for machined automotive components before final inspection, packaging or delivery.
Ultrasonic cleaning uses high frequency sound waves in a cleaning bath to remove machining oils, coolant, metal particles and other contaminants from component surfaces and difficult to reach areas. It is particularly suitable for components with holes, internal features and complex geometries that can be difficult to clean using conventional washing methods.
Cleaning requirements are defined according to the component and customer specification. Where specific technical cleanliness requirements apply, the relevant acceptance criteria and verification methods are determined for the project.
Keeping ultrasonic cleaning in house allows components to move directly from machining through cleaning to final inspection, reducing the need for an additional external process.
