Induction Hardening

Ağırman performs induction hardening in house for automotive components that require localized hardening according to the customer specification. Keeping this process in house allows machining, heat treatment and further processing to be managed within the same manufacturing process.

Induction hardening uses localized heating followed by quenching in selected areas of the component. Process parameters are defined according to the material, part geometry and specified hardening requirements.

Surface hardness and effective case depth are measured against the requirements defined for the component, providing direct verification of the induction hardening process.
